Sunday- Church and More...

We got to ride the bus around town this morning after breakfast and before church started. Ethan drove and Ralph was the tour guide. We went by the church building site, Jeanie’s house, and where church currently is being held, the Casa de Pastor and other places we had previously worked years before. It was amazing to see how much has been done. Five yrs ago Jeanie’s house was only cement brick walls and some extra walls inside. We tore down the inside wall and poured a cap around the outside walls that year. Now the house is done! She has tile floor laid in most of the house, only a couple of rooms left to do and some work on the bathroom. It looks great. She hasn’t moved in yet; still lives at the Casa de Pastor. They use her house for Sunday School. At the Casa de Pastor, the compound that was just a couple of cement foundations and where the guys camped 5 yrs ago, is now a 2 story building in progress. What a blessing to see work moving ahead and how the little we do in 1-2 weeks can make a difference.

Tim, your roof is still there and readable from the road.

So far we have had easy days. Tomorrow we will begin some of the work.
