Dinner with Enrique

Hello,

Last night we had the honor of having dinner with Enrique and his family. For those of you who have been on previous trips before, you know Enrique as the brick mason who helped us build Marta's house and pour the floor at Juanita's. He has been doing very well in his work and has just remodeled his house to rent out after he finishes his new one. You should see the tile work in his bathroom!

Anyways, he invited us to his house to have dinner with him- not because we did anything in particular for him, but because he was so gracious for the work God is doing through our church in this town.

As you may also know Enrique has a wonderful voice and his son is blessed as well. Special thanks goes to Andy as he worked to translate and teach us a song as he played with Enrique, Jr.. After a wonderful chicken mole (mole-A), they concluded the evening with a father-son duet.

It is good to see that even though we may think of our impact as very minimal at times, God can take these situations and make true impressions on people's hearts.
