"C" is for Cipro- thats good enough for me....

“Cipro”, The Word of the Day! 7/18/05

Well it finally hit, the dreaded stomach problems. Who knows why or how but if you stay down in Mexico long enough, you are sure to pick up something. Could be from a migrant camp, food, or water. We also like to share our food and if one unclean hand hits a bag of pretzels, watch out!

Several team members are down with the runs. The toilet has become their best friend. We have been using Cipro with good results knocking out the bug with one or two pills. We were able to pick up some at the local pharmacy and some of us had brought some with us. No one is to sick but it just makes for a bad day or two and then runs it’s course. Maybe the dreaded one weekers left it for us :)

Good news is the weather has cooled off and so has the work site. We are waiting for the walls to be built to their full height and then the hard work days will start again.

Continue to pray for the health of all the team members.

UPDATE!!! 7/19/05. All GI problems have cleared up and we are good to go. Hey Liz, the weather has cooled down to a very comfortable low 70’s.
